An evening of event photography in York to document the formal ‘Presidents’ dinner and awards ceremony of UoY's Netball Club.
Bedern Hall, tucked away with the city walls, provided a gorgeous historical backdrop and laid on a stunning spread to accompany some very moving speeches.

I’m lucky enough to have close links with the University of York, through alumni, staff or current students, I enjoy a variety of events and asignments. When they University’s History Society booked me to cover their Advent Winter Ball at The Pitcher & Piano I knew I was in for a fun evening!
Towards the end of last year I had the pleasure of a day of York wedding photography at The Pavillion on Fulford road. Kelly & Paul had planned a small, intimate ceremony for their family and closest of friends and The Pavillion provided the pefect spaces for their special day!
The full album from Kelly & Paul’s wedding can be found here.
Find below photography from a live music based birthday celebration of Nathan’s 30 years on the planet. Feautring loud noises from Mitzi’s Revenge, Hellbound Hearts, Shot Down Stay Down, Amongst Thieves and Gleeee.

I was commissioned this month by long term client Fibbers Live Music Venue to document the revision of their interior. Since the complete overhaul of the venue in 2010 Fibbers’ has sported the classic black/gold combo.
In a radical gesture to the venues contemporary ambitions Fibbers assigned world renowned grafitti artist Kid Acne to develop a concept for interior murals based on versions of his infamous characters.

Another year at Galtres Festival as Staff Photographer. Always a highlight of my event calender, this year Galtres embraced a change of site location. The new site at Duncombe Park in Helmsley was a bold move for the festival organisers but one which looked to pay off. The new parklands setting stood up to everything the weather threw at it during Friday and Saturday whilst providing stunning panoramic views of the Yorkshire Moors.
This years line up provided the usual mix of exciting headline acts, local talent, arts & crafts and an exceptional lineup of beer, cider and food. Below is a brief selection of images, with links at the bottom to complete galleries from each day of event.
